To highlight photos from a family hike, use a bold map-pattern paper to serve as a mat for your main photo. Several circles cut from yellow patterned paper soften the straight edges from the photos and journaling strips. The result is a nice mix of shapes that provides a balanced design.

Editor's Tip: Rub an ink pad on the edges of journaling strips or embellishments to help them stand out.
