Design by Shannon Brouwer
Shannon used torn, distressed edges to add character to paper shapes. Make a scene from the shapes and plop your pictures in the middle to draw the eyes in. If you're not comfortable tearing freehand, use a punch or circle cutter to cut the patterned paper and then tear along the edges. You can curl or distress the edges by rubbing a nail file over them.
