Lisa picked a favorite holiday song as the starting point for her page. For quick journaling, she wrote the lyrics of the song around the music paper. To make the paper feel vintage, she roughed the edges with a distressing tool.

Editor's Tip: Pull color schemes from your photos. Polly didn't want to overwhelm this faded vintage photo by using a bold palette, so she built her scrapbook page in soft blues and pinks and gave the photo a substantial crisp white mat.
