Melissa whipped up a dozen of these simple holiday cards by snipping scraps of patterned paper and kraft cardstock to make crude Christmas trees on the fronts of bought card bases. Stars punched from solid cardstock top the trees.

Editor's Tip: Look for packaged card bases that have a special feature such as a window or preprinted design. These bases featured a subtle embossed outline that highlights the design nicely.
