Use Digital Software to Make a Lighthearted Page

Design by Breanna Laakkonen

To soften the look of her scrapbook page, Breanna used digital photo borders to enhance her favorite shots. For an artistic touch, she outlined her sister's age with a digital heart of flowers.

Editor's Tip: Use brushes to digitally ink the edges of paper, as Breanna did here.

Please include sports, art, hobbies of the teens! Face shots are nice; but kids are usually doing stuff - be nice to see how you'd scrap those hobbies!

What I do (and I have one son and three daughters) is rework the layout to apply more to a boys type of page. This can include changing papers, embellishments and text but, it works (most of the time).

Why out of 26 is there only one layout featuring boys? Boys are teenagers too and are often left out of scrapbook mags!
