Stand in one spot

The photographer: Amy Howe

The gist: Stand in one spot and take five pictures.

What she got: Amy stood on a street corner and snapped shots of everyday objects that are anything but ordinary. This is the spot she stood. Click on the image to the left to see a composite of the five shots Amy captured from her vantage point.

What you can do: Look closely at objects you normally wouldn’t give a second thought. Something photo-worthy can be found in just about everything—you just have to take the time to see it from a new perspective. To help find that new way of looking at things, try zooming in on details, or snap a picture from an unusual angle.
