Tear a page from your favorite magazine to substitute for glossy patterned paper. Also, cover chipboard embellishments, like the flower on this layout, with a magazine page. Then, ink the edges for a polished look.
Editor's Tip: Magazine pages are thin and fragile, so use a sharp trimming tool when cutting them to use for scrapbooking.
Archival Tip: Keep pages archival safe! Seal found embellishments with a clear sealant or coat them with an archival preservation spray.
