Dining Room Scrapbook Space

To be in the hub of family action, designer Janna Wilson converted her 200-square-foot dining room into a scrapbook room. Built-in cabinetry mixed with multifunctional storage pieces and salvage finds make this work space a crafter's dream.
Convert An Unused Room Into A Scrapbook Studio

Designer Janna Wilson likes to work near her family of five, so she made the main-floor dining room of her home her scrapbook studio. Husband Scott added to the existing built-in cabinets and buffet with flexible organization and storage pieces for scrapbook supplies. Hardwood floors clean up easily and look great.

I wanted to learn digital scrapbooking....then it came to my attention that there wasn't anything really done by yourself or cute and personal items.

I agree to not doing digital scrapbooking, that's like hiring someone else to plant your flowers, we need "hands on"! The digital ones are ok for those that don't like to do the add ons, etc but I love the original scrapbooking so much better, you spent time on someone and they appreciate that.

I enjoy seeing how people come up with creative ways to organize their "stuff". I am not that creative. I am always reorganizing my things and I enjoy buying baskets and storage items, it is all part of the scrapbooking "sickness"!

This is why I absolutely love BHG!This Article & Jenna's Tips/Flair for organization and functuality are great. Not to mention, right on time.My Husband and Myself were actually in debate about this very subject earlier today.I love my work,my home and my Family but, trying to find a way to combine all 3 in a functional, stylish way was throwing me for a loop. However, with GREAT THANKS & a "BRAVO!" to Janna and BHG,I'm already sketching plans for my very own "unused room studio".LOVE YOU GUYS!

I think your scrapping spaces are great for those who have the footage. I live in a 38 foot Motor Home. I travel, love photography and want to save my journeys for future generation in scrapbooks. No, I do not like digital scrapbooking. I like the feel and look of my physical books. My space is well orgainized and I love scrapping on the kitchen counter when I have time.
