Valentine's Day Cards

A patterned-paper heart backed with scallops creates a sweet centerpiece for Lisa's Valentine's Day card. She embellished with a trio of gems, a sticker, and ribbon, and completed the look with a simple greeting.

Editor's Tip: To make a conventional holiday design, take cues from Lisa's card. She used only red, pink, and white, placing her focal point onto a distressed brown card base. Stitching around the edges gives the card an old-fashioned feel.
