Sometimes you have only one photo to tell your story, so you'll want to showcase it. Blow it up and make it the star using a shaped photo mat. For a bit of whimsy, machine-stitch hand-cut circles of coordinating scraps on the background of your layout. Make pleated paper ribbon by trimming a 1x12" strip of double-sided patterned paper. Fold it randomly and adhere the strip below the photo.

Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper. Patterned paper: Cosmo Cricket (green), My Mind's Eye (pink). Brads: BasicGrey, K&Company. Buttons: My Mind's Eye. Stickers: Sassafras. Punches: Fiskars, Martha Stewart Crafts.
