Beginner Scrapbooking Tip: To get the perfect Christmas photo shot, drape a velvet cloth over a chair and place your subject near a window.
1. Cut an oversize mat for your photo from white cardstock, leaving more room above the photo than below. Attach the white mat to a slightly larger piece of black cardstock and mount on the patterned-paper background.
2. Add a strip of red patterned paper on top of the double mat. Add the photo as shown.
3. Print or handwrite a caption and attach it to the page. Add a pretty ribbon and letter-sticker title to finish the layout.
