Birthday Paper-Piecing Patterns

Before Vicki cut out the layers for her cake piecing, she dry-embossed white-core pink cardstock. After she cut out the pieces, she lightly sanded the raised designs. For more delicate pieces, such as the cake stand, choose papers with a small-scale print so the pattern is visible.
