Build a Card Background with Blocks of Patterned Paper

Melissa used scraps of holiday-print patterned paper to make the blocked background on the front of this holiday card, inking the edges of each block with black ink to accentuate the pieced look.

Editor's Tip: Match the mood of your papers. Here, Melissa chose to cut her blocks by hand to give the holiday card a more whimsical look that mirrors the style of her patterned papers.
