Family Holiday Album

Prepare the Cover

For the cover, paint an 8x8" piece of cream chipboard. Add an inked strip of paper and a row of rub-ons to the left side. For the title, combine chipboard letters and a word sticker. Top off the title with a ribbon bow and a jewel as shown.

SOURCES Patterned paper: Autumn Leaves (text), Crossed Paths (stripe). Rub-ons, stickers: Heidi Grace. Rubber stamps: Paper Salon. Ink: Ranger Industries. Pen: Uniball. Chipboard accents: Chatterbox (pink letters), Heidi Swapp (green letters), Junkits (sheets). Metal rings, ribbon, buttons, washers: Junkitz. Silk flowers: Heidi Swapp. Acrylic paint: Delta. Design: Janna Wilson.

Design the Title Page

On the title page, mount a stack of flowers on top of a circle of patterned paper. Repeat the strip of paper and row of rub-ons from the cover, and add a date with chipboard letters. To finish, use letter and word stickers to describe the album.

Create the Inside Pages

For each inner page, cut the following strips from patterned paper: one 1/2x6", two each of 3-1/2x2", 2-1/4x3-1/2", 1x4", and 4x2", and a photo corner. Ink the edges of all the pieces. Adhere the strips to lightweight chipboard sheets cut into 7-1/2" squares.

Mat the photos with white cardstock and adhere them on top of the strips in the same spot on each page. Finish with handwritten journaling, stickers, acrylic flowers, and chipboard letters.

Assemble the album with metal rings tied with ribbon.
