Family Photo Album
Family Snapshot AlbumDesign by Helen Naylor
As queen of the family snapshots, Helen Naylor has accrued quite a collection of photos, which she longed to share with everyone now that her extended family is dispersed. She fashioned this album featuring the highlights of her picture stash to preserve and share the family's memories. By developing a charming yet simple format, she can reproduce the book to give as holiday gifts.

A Unified LookDesign by Helen Naylor
Helen began her album design by converting photos taken at different times and locations to black-and-white, unifying the varied images. She then chose a set of coordinating papers and embellishments, feeling free to select whatever palette she liked.
Time-Saving TechniqueUsing sheets of double-sided patterned paper, she cut 6" squares to serve as backgrounds or to cut into accent strips already measured to the right length. Helen constructed her pages quickly by layering pieces of the patterned paper and adding simply matted photos and short photo captions printed on white card stock. Repeating coordinating embellishments, such as buttons, acrylic words, and flower punches, and following similar page design throughout the album aided Helen's quick assembly and cohesive results.
