I started out making a page to tell my story of that September day, but I couldn’t get Alan Jackson’s song out of my head, so I decided to include the lyrics. Journaling: It was just another morning. Ali had already left for school and I was getting AJ ready for preschool. Walt called to tell me to turn on the TV. A plane had flown into one of the Twin Towers. Within a few minutes of watching, I stared in horror as I watched the second plane fly into the second tower. AJ was late to school that day and I delivered the news to his teacher. I returned home to watch in stunned silence for the next several hours. We all knew it was a day we would never forget. Alan Jackson's song captured the emotion so beautifully.
