Layer Small Cuts
Design by Janna Wilson
1. Using the brown side of the multicolor dotted/brown paper as the background, attach the large strip of the striped/green paper flush with the top. Round the bottom corners of the piece of the dotted circle paper and mount it below the top strip, about ½" from the left side. Grab the dotted strip cut from the banded paper, trim the bottom at an angle, and attach it vertically as shown.
2. Round the bottom corners of a 5x7" photo, and attach it below the top strip, next to the dotted strip. Cover the seam at the top of the photo with the leaf band cut from the banded paper. Cut a V shape from the bottom of both strips of the pin-dot/tan paper and then machine-stitch around the edges. Mount the longer piece in the upper left corner and accent the strip with a button tied with ribbon.
3. Attach additional photos as shown and add subtitles with epoxy stickers. Attach the second piece of the pin-dot/tan paper in the lower right corner and embellish it with a date stamp and string-tied buttons. Add journaling strips, embellish photos with a parenthesis stamp, and top the page with a chipboard letter title.
ADDITIONAL SOURCES Chipboard accents: Chatterbox. Stamps: Autumn Leaves. Ink: Ranger Industries. Buttons: Autumn Leaves (red), Junkitz (orange, green).
