Cut Out a Notch
Design by Mellette Berezoski
1. Score the 5-1/2x8-3/4" piece of light green cardstock
4-1/4" from the left and 1/4" on the bottom and trim the bottom strip from just the left section of cardstock. Mellette used a texture plate to emboss the middle section of the cardstock, which will end up as the front.
2. Fold and seal the card by adhering the 1/4" tabs on the side and bottom to the back. Use a circle punch to cut out a notch at the top of the card. Machine-stitch double lines along the top and bottom of the floral paper and attach it to the front. Trim one side of the strip of the dotted paper with scallop-edge scissors and mount it below the floral paper. Wrap a piece of ribbon around the card along the seam, thread the ends through a button, and tie it in a bow. Add a holiday sticker and a rub-on, then embellish the cream cardstock piece with a button and tuck it into the card.
