Stitch a Seam
Design by Mellette Berezoski
1. Using an oblong window card (Mellette’s measures about 4x9-1/4"), attach the 6-1/2" piece of vintage-text paper flush with the top left corner. Mount the 2-7/8x2-3/4" piece cut from the vintage-text paper against the bottom left corner. Attach the strip of the brown damask paper along the right. Trim one edge of the strip of light green cardstock with decorative scissors and mount it next to the brown strip. Use a zigzag machine stitch on the seam.
2. Stamp the beveled mat with a flourish and mount it to the front of the card over the window. Open the card and trim away from the papers covering the small opening. Trim the window so it’s lined up with the inside edges of the mat. Add a square epoxy sticker inside the window. Embellish the front of the card with a paper flower and a ribbon topped with a vintage button.
