Crop for Impact

Design by Michelle Rubin

Perpendicular strips of patterned paper create a simple yet effective design, and the title fills empty space near the top of the page. Michelle cropped three photos to the same size as her journaling block and arranged them on the horizontal strip—creating a matted effect that helps direct the eye to the focal photo.

SOURCES Rub-ons photo corner: American Crafts. Acrylic tag: Maya Road.
