DESIGN IN CIRCLES
Design by Erin Roe
In the kit
a large orange semicircle
b 5x12" piece of navy blue paper
c 4x12” piece cut from bottom of star paper
d sticker accents
Etc.
e 4x9” piece of vellum
f 12x12” sheet of white cardstock
g two orange brads
h chipboard scraps
i white rub-on letters
j 3/16” ribbon
1. Build your background. On a 12x12” piece of white cardstock f, attach b as shown. Add a so it’s about 1/4” from the top and each side. Position c flush with the bottom of the layout, and then trim e into a swoosh and attach so it appears to be trailing the star. Round the corners of the layout.
2. Place your photos. Attach four small 2x2-3/4 ” photos below a on the left and right sides, leaving white space around each one. Crop a 5x7” photo into a 5” circle and mat it on a 5-1/4” white cardstock circle. Mount it in the center of the page.
3. Embellish. Type and print your journaling, and cut it into strips. Add the journaling strips, accented by brads g, in the lower left corner. Place the “cool” and “buddies” stickers d on chipboard for dimension. Punch a hole in the tag sticker and add ribbon j. Layer d in a cluster as shown, popping up the “buddies” sticker with adhesive foam. Add a title with white rub-on letters i.
