Additional Materials
j full sheet of 12x12" kraft cardstock
k 6x4" piece and 9-1/2x1-3/4" red cardstock
l white cardstock cut into strips for journaling
1. Build the background. On a 12x12" piece of kraft cardstock j, layer pieces a, b, and c as shown. Mat piece d on a scrap of red cardstock k and place it flush with the right edge. Mount piece d along the bottom edge.
2. Place your photos. Mat the focal-point photo on red cardstock k and position on b as shown. Add the smaller photos in a row between the largest photo and d.
3. Embellish. Attach e to the layout, wrapping the left end around the back. Create a loop by tucking the right end underneath itself, and adhere the loop for added dimension. Layer f on top of e, securing the ends in the same way. Top the layered ribbons with g. Trim around the rub-on h with a craft knife and add it to the layout. Vicki adhered it with adhesive foam to the right of the ribbon. Place i (accented with a ribbon scrap) as shown. Tuck your journaling strips under b. Finish the layout by strategically hand-drawing lines around c as Vicki did. |
