Create a border

Design by Amy Licht

Framed with color. With reds, oranges, and browns, my cardstock and paper choices reflect the season. I used a lot of buttons and multicolor stickers, but I kept them contained to maintain my linear style.

Walk on the wild side. Your colors don't always have to be a perfect match. I dug through my stash to find a variety of letters in six colors to create this festive design.

SOURCES Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper. Patterned paper: Bo-Bunny. Font: American Typewriter (journaling) off the Internet. Die-cutting tools, dies: QuicKutz. Stickers: KI Memories (orange “p,” orange “t,” blue “l”), Making Memories (orange “l”), American Crafts (all other). Ink: ColorBox by Clearsnap. Buttons: Blumenthal (orange), Michaels Stores (mini), Autumn Leaves (all other). Gems: EK Success. Floral trim: Doodlebug Design. String: DMC.
