Mix Circles and Squares

Design by Amy Goldstein

Using a square grid design is a fun contrast to a series of circles, three of which contain photographs. Amy also placed additional journaling on the largest photo. When designing on a grid, try using your computer or a pencil to sketch the grid first. You can then use the lines as a guide to perfectly align your elements on the page.

SOURCES Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper. Patterned paper: Scenic Route Paper co. (polka dot), Junkitz (all other). Fonts: Serifa BT (journaling), Scriptina (“W” on photo) off the Internet. Chipboard letters, plastic letters, mask: Heidi Swapp. Acrylic accents: KI Memories (“memories,” “m”). Jelly accent: Provo Craft (flower). Striped button, flower: Doodlebug Design. Brads: Karen Foster Design. Rub-ons, sign: Making Memories.
