Scrapbook Pages with Digital Brushes

Erica used the Dodge, Burn, and Erase tools to manipulate her digital brush image and create cool color effects. She also let a hand-cut version of the same brush shape overlap the ultrasound image and add oomph to the white background.

Manipulating digital brushes step-by-step
1. Open your file in image-editing software and select the Dodge, Burn, or Erase tool.
2. In your tool bar, select the digital brush you'd like to use. Change the size and color as desired. Erica left her color the same to create a tone-on-tone effect.
3. Stamp your brush in the file. Click multiple times in the same spot for a stronger effect with the Dodge and Burn tools.
