Turn a Digital Element into a Digital Brush

Design by Erica Hernandez

Erica converted a digital element into a digital brush, and then stamped it on her photo and background paper for a striking embellishment. She arranged the brush image and her photo on a blank canvas and then printed out two versions -- one on photo paper and one on patterned paper -- and then paired the two.

Turn a digital element into a digital brush step-by-step

2. Select the entire image with the Marquee tool and click Edit>>Define Brush.
