Cathy started with the most basic of elements: solid card stock. She chose a different shade for each month's background and added four or five photos, cropped but not matted to make quick work of the assembly. Her journaling was printed on strips of white card stock and stapled to the page. Punched circles appear as simple graphic elements and as the foundation for stamped icons that further illustrate the time of year.
