Design by Allison Kimball
Use a pocket-size album to organize photos and memories from the past year. By creating a section for each family member, you can share personal memories, good wishes, and favorite photos. Allison used a sturdy chipboard book as the base for her album, filling the inside with photos on pocket pages that hold tags.
Make creative paper piecings with our free patterns and instructions.
This one i really like, its "mini - style" makes it a relaxing project because it is easier to "fill-in" a smaller page and one can easily insert tags and journals.. a very creative idea
6/1/2010 08:10:27 AM Report AbuseI am not a big fan of mini scrapbooks but when you want to take your books along you dont have to take the biggie ones you can take mini ones , this one caught my eye
1/27/2010 12:05:35 PM Report AbuseAllison did a great job with this 'mini'. I like all 3 albums, but would say this was my favorite. You can use the idea for so many events...how about a retirement gift?
1/24/2010 01:06:30 PM Report AbuseI have never liked minis, as I prefer large and bold, but this mini really caught my eye. Colors, multi-media is perfect for Autistic patients.
1/24/2010 10:58:06 AM Report AbuseThis is one of my absolute favs. I love the depth you can get with the albulm. So many different options for themes.
1/24/2010 09:05:38 AM Report AbuseThis is a "big" album even though its size is a mini. The use of texture and color with pictures I can actually see are fantastic. Great design! Kudos to Allison Kimball for a wonderful album.
1/22/2010 10:28:05 AM Report Abusenot usually a fan of the mini albums, but i really like that this "year-in-review" album has a theme. i'm thinking of doing this for each of my kids.
1/21/2010 08:58:20 PM Report AbuseI love the idea of making a mini album to share tidbits of the year from your family! A cute way to easily (and quickly) share your last year with everyone!
1/21/2010 08:39:06 PM Report AbuseI think this one is my favorite...I like the calander one too, but I definetly like the 3D effect you get with this one.
1/21/2010 07:58:06 PM Report AbuseScrapJack wrote: This has to be my favorite. With a new baby in the family,I can quickly do the mini albums and adapt them for the new Mom, Grandmothers & the 2 Great-Grandmothers. These can quickly become "A little book of "Big Brags for our New Baby." Can't wait to get started!
1/21/2010 04:10:47 PM Report AbuseI love mini albums because they take the pressure off of covering a large space and you can really focus on your topic while having fun. This is probably my favorite style.
1/21/2010 03:37:00 PM Report Abusethank you nthem for the reminder! I have never sewn paper before... what kind/size needle should i use?
1/21/2010 01:59:48 PM Report AbuseI love anything with tags and fabric ribbons. (but remember if you are running paper through your sewing machine you should change the needle before you return to fabric sewing)
1/21/2010 01:50:30 PM Report AbuseLOve, Love it!!! Its just toooo cute!!! msperry1008@yahoo.com
1/21/2010 12:26:34 PM Report AbuseAs a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother I love this one to carry in my purse and if you put a clear pocket on each page to slip pictures in you can change them as the children grow.
1/21/2010 12:07:41 PM Report AbuseAdorable mini album! Love adding the tags! thanks for the inspiration!
