WEEK 2: COOL JOURNALING AND DOODLING

Hi!  I'm Cherie Intintolo and I live in Lansdale, Pennsylvania with my sweet hubby Nick, and my beautiful step-daughter Donna, who is often the star of my scrapbook layouts.  We also have 2 pups, Bailey and Maggie. 

I created my first scrapbook when I was about 17 years old before acid-free became a buzz word and the only products available were paper, markers, and glue.  Back then it was okay to put newspaper clippings next to photos on the same page. Yikes! 

I have a keen interest in photography and don’t go many places without my camera.  I’m so afraid I may miss that perfect shot!  Scrapbooking has helped me make sense of all the photos I take.  I am clearly addicted (just ask my husband!) and I have met some of the most wonderful people, who I now call friends, from this hobby.  Scrapbooking is my creative outlet and helps me relax after a stressful day. 

I seem to find inspiration in many places: magazines, clothing, TV ads, and fellow scrappers.  I love bright colors and enjoy mixing different patterned papers together.  I would have to say that my style is eclectic.  I love to try new techniques and use different types of media on my layouts.  

I am so excited to be part of the Ultimate Summer Challenge and have had a wonderful time seeing all of the creative layouts in the gallery.  Thanks to everyone who has supported me.  Bring on the final challenge!
