Today’s photo challenge is rule of thirds. The rule of thirds is one of the most basic photography tricks to learn to make your pictures balanced and interesting. The basic idea of the rule of thirds is to imagine breaking an image down into thirds (both horizontally and vertically) so that you have 9 parts. If you place the most important parts of your picture in the intersections, your photos will have a greater impact and follow the most natural line of sight.
See my rule of thirds picture below. I made sure to position the dog’s face (the most important part of the photo), at an intersection point of two lines.
