April Photo Challenge: Color
This April, we’re challenging all our readers to see their lives and the world around them with a creative eye. Follow our photo prompts every day. Upload your photos to Facebook (/scrapbooksetcmagazine) or Twitter (@scrapbooksetc) and tag us in your photo/post so we can see! Visit our blog every day for inspiration, great photo tips, and to see pics from our staff.
Today’s photo challenge is color. It’s so easy to get into a rut using the same colors of cardstock or the same color of journaling marker. But there are thousands of colors and patterns out there to choose from. Noticing colors around you, whether they inspire a picture or not, is an easy way to take note of color combinations you love (or ones you hate!).
See the picture I took below for my color challenge. I was at a coffee shop doing some reading and noticed these colorful marbles for playing games. I dumped them on the table and they shimmered in the light, making a great picture. Not only is it a creative way to scrapbook my afternoon at a coffee shop, but it adds color to my normal kraft paper layouts.
Keep following along with us with these daily photo prompts!
