Craft It Forward Blog Hop!

Hey, gang! Happy June! I’m super excited about a special project we’ve been working on for the Craft It Forward project this month: patriotic thank you cards! Head over to the Craft It Forward page to download the directions.

We got to thinking that it would be fun to see how different bloggers and sponsors would interpret these super cute cards (designed by Lisa Storms), so we’re doing a blog hop. Just click on one of the blogs from the list below to see a different interpretation of this month’s project. Then “hop” to all of the blogs to see more!

Here are the bloggers participating:

Lisa Storms

Just Me, My Soldier, and Our 4 Little Chicks (Stephanie Howell)

Erin Clarkson

Pandemonium (Sande Krieger)

The Moments in Between (Lisa Truesdell)

Valerie Salmon

Here I Am (Emily Pitts)

I Rock Paper & Scissors (Shannon Zickel)

Ranger Ink

Balzer Designs (Julie Fei-Fan Balzer)

Scrapbook Update

Operation Write Home

Art Made With Heart (Shanna Vineyard)

Nunu Toolies (Kazan Clark)

Embellished Dreams (Heidi Blankenship)

Holly Simoni

Amazing Paper Grace (Becca Feeken)

Cookies for Breakfast (Beth Pingry)

Scraps of Life (Gloria Stengel)

Creating…My Style (Judy Hayes)

Live It! (Leslie Lightfoot)

And if you’re inspired enough to make your own card (and how could you not be?), go to our gallery and post a photo of it for a chance to win $500 for you and the charity of your choice!

Have fun!

  9. FYI – if you make your cards too thick (eyelets, brads, foam tape, etc.) they will not go through the postage meters and will have to be hand processed and that will cost extra

  10. So, I was looking through the CIF projects and was wondering why people are putting non-related CIF stuff in for voting (photo of kids hair, photo of kids smile, a decorated bra, a clock, a quilt, SB pages when the project was cards, lollipop covers or baskets, cupcakes, etc.) I think that is very unfair to the people that worked hard on the project for that month.

  11. What great cards! They are perfect for Operation Write Home…especially Anyhero cards!! TFS!!

  12. I love these patriotic cards. They are perfect for send to the troops through Operation Write Home.

  13. I just uploaded my Patriotic Thank You card for the troops. I don’t think we could ever do enough to support them and their families. We would not be free if it were not for them.

Thanks for hosting the blog hop. Not sure how to put my blog in the hop.

  14. Great review! You actually overviewed some valuable things in your post. I came across it by using Bing and I’ve got to admit that I already subscribed to the RSS feed, it’s very great :)
