Beginner Scrapbooking Tip: To get the perfect Christmas photo shot, drape a velvet cloth over a chair and place your subject near a window.
1. Cut an oversize mat for your photo from white cardstock, leaving more room above the photo than below. Attach the white mat to a slightly larger piece of black cardstock and mount on the patterned-paper background.
2. Add a strip of red patterned paper on top of the double mat. Add the photo as shown.
3. Print or handwrite a caption and attach it to the page. Add a pretty ribbon and letter-sticker title to finish the layout.

I cannot believe the rudeness of this comment. I would feel awful if I shared my art with another person and they slammed it in this way. Don't you know scrapbooking is about your own tastes and preferences and making your own special art with your photos? Stop trying to act like you're better than other people!
