BE THRIFTY BY USING POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE DIE-CUT SHAPES

Design by Leah Fung

To get the most mileage out of her die cuts, Leah used both the positive (the cutout design) and negative (the holes left after the die-cut design was removed) heart shapes on this scrapbook page. For a homemade touch, Leah stitched along the edges of her die-cut shapes.

See how another scrapbooker used punched negative space.

SOURCES Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper (blue, green, orange), The Paper Co. (white). Fonts: Rockwell (title) off the Internet, Arial (journaling). Buttons: Making Memories. Paper clip: Staples. Thread: Coats & Clark.
