Add Your Own Handwriting

Design by Shannon Zickel

Surround the subjects of your layout with a handwritten love letter.

Tip 1: Be watchful of where you’re writing. The neutral background of the wall behind Shannon’s husband and son makes the perfect backdrop for her handwriting. A busier scene would have made it hard to read.

Tip 2: Mix rub-ons, printed fonts, stickers, handwriting, and die cuts for a fun and interesting title that goes across your photos.

SOURCES Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper. Patterned paper: BasicGrey (multicolor), Scenic Route Paper Co. (green dot), KI Memories (orange stripe), Chatterbox (orange dot). Die cuts: KI Memories (“V”), BasicGrey (all other letters), Heidi Grace Designs (hearts). Rub-ons: American Crafts. Acrylic hearts: Heidi Swapp. Pens, brads: American Crafts.
